HOW TO MAKE YEMA PASTILLAS



INGREDIENTS:

2 CANS CONDENSED MILK
1 CUP JACKFRUIT (LANGKA) cut in small pieces
100 GRAMS BUTTER
1 TBSP LEMON ZEST
1 CUP POWDERED MILK
GRANULATED WHITE SUGAR
CLEAR CELLOPHANE PAPER
COLORED JAPANESE PAPER
BOND PAPER


PROCEDURE:

1. Melt the butter


2. Add 2 cans Condensed Milk


3. Add our Jackfruit (Langka)


4. Next add our Lemon Zest


5. Lastly, add our powdered milk


6. Put your Yema on a plate (brush your plate with 
some butter)
Let it cool down.



7. Once it has cool down, form it into a small log.


8. Cut the log into equal sizes


9. Roll them into your granulated sugar


10. Wrap our yema using yellow Japanese paper or
any color of your choice. You can also wrap using clear
cellophane plastic.



11. Again another gift idea or income generating idea. :)






YUMMY UBE POLVORON



YUMMY UBE POLVORON

Ingredients:

3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups powdered milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup ground macadamia nuts/ cashew nuts or 
any nuts you prefer
500 grams white chocolates
1 cup melted butter
Ube food coloring
cellophane or Japanese paper


Procedure:

1. Put the flour into a pan, we will toast our flour in low heat. Be sure to constantly stir our flour to avoid burning our flour. Once the color turned slightly brown then we can turn off the heat.


2. Sift our toasted flour when it is already cooled and
add our ground nuts.


3. Add our granulated sugar


4. Next add our powdered milk


5. Now add our melted butter



6. Mix very well, be sure all ingredients are distributed 
evenly.

7. Set aside for 30 minutes for it to harden.

8. Using polvoron mold press in into our polvoron.
Be sure to press it hard and pack it well.




9. Melt the white chocolate using a double boiler pot.



Add few drops of purple food coloring to your white chocolate.


10. Once white chocolate has melted we can now dip our 
pulvoron one at a time.


11. Wait for the white chocolate to set then we can now wrap our ube polvoron.


12. You can wrap it using purple Japanese paper or
clear cellophane plastic.

Homemade Salted Eggs (Itlog na Maalat)

I love salted eggs. In fact, just this morning I was craving for salted eggs with fresh tomatoes and dried fried fish. Do you know you can make your own salted eggs right in your own home?
I'll share with you how to make salted eggs. What I like about homemade salted eggs is that it's not as salty as the ones we buy in stores. These are just right and the yolk is more delicious.
Let get down to business.

Here are the ingredients:
12 raw chicken eggs
1 1/2 cups salt
4 cups water

Procedure:
1. Put in a pan your 1 1/2 cups salt.



2. Pour your 4 cups water into your salt.


3. Boil until the salt is completely dissolve in water. Once it is completely dissolved
let it cool down.


4. Once it has completely cooled down, place our eggs in a container.
Pour our salt mixture into the eggs.


5.  The eggs should be submerged in water.
Cover our container very tightly and place it in a warm place.



6. Wait for 2 weeks or 15 days. Now uncover and this is what it would look when you open
     our container.


7.  Now transfer the eggs in a pot, we will boil the eggs in medium heat. Until cooked.


8.  Once cooked we can now serve our super yummy homemade salted eggs.




How to Make Macapuno Soft Candy Balls


These soft candy balls are made of Macapuno preserves and sweetened condensed milk covered 
with coconut flakes. It is so easy to make and really delicious. 

Ingredients:
1 Bottle Sweet Macapuno 
1 small can Condensed Milk
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup cornstarch
coconut flakes or dessicated coconut
Colored Cellophane


Procedure:

1.  Put our condensed milk in a pan at a low heat,
keep stirring. Our Condensed Milk should thicken.


2. Add our Sweetened Macapuno, continously stir. 
Until our Macapuno becomes very thick.


3. Add in our 1/2 cup cornstarch dissolved in 1/2 cup water


4. You will notice that once it is very thick it separates from the 
pan. That means it is already cooked.


5. Brush our plate with melted butter.


6.  Transfer our Macapuno to our plate.
7.  Let it cool, Once it cool down we can start 
shaping our Macapuno into balls.
8.  Lastly, roll our Macapuno ball on Dessicated coconut.


9. Wrap our Macapuno balls with cellophane wrapper.




Try these Macapuno Soft balls so easy to make and you can sell it to your friends or give 
it to your relatives.




How to Make Steamed Custard Cake (Leche Puto)


One of the more famous delicacies to us Filipinos are Puto, another variation is our Leche Puto.
A combination of Puto with Leche Flan on top. I would to share with you how to make them.

Here are the ingredients:
8 Egg Yolks
4 Egg Whites
2 cups Cake Flour
1 cup Granulated Sugar
1 cup Fresh Milk
1 Can Condensed Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tbsp Melted butter

Yellow food coloring (optional)


We start by beating the 8 pcs of egg yolk, then add 1 can of condensed milk. Next we add in our vanilla extract and our lemon juice. Set aside.




We now combine all our dry ingredients flour, sugar and baking powder. Sift all these ingredients then set aside.


Beat 4 egg whites using a hand mixer or an egg beater then add it to our dry ingredients.
Mix thoroughly. Add our melted butter. 
Lastly, add the yellow food coloring.






Brush all molds with melted butter and now pour slowly our 
Flan (egg yolk) mixture. Steam for 5 minutes.



Put  a tea cloth on our cover to avoid water into our custard cake.


After 5 minutes we can now add our Puto (egg whites) mixture then steam for 10 minutes.


To check if it's cook use a bamboo skewer and prick one, if it comes out clean then it is really to serve.
