STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS, July 24, 2014

Today is July 28th, 2014, Monday. Start of the week and I was telling myself that I have to be productive,
that I need to accomplish a lot of tasks this week. Well, I was feeling lazy to start with. I was so eagerly awaiting for President Benigno Simeon Aquino III's speech. A monumental event for us Filipinos. Somehow money is tight. We are all in dire strait financially. Hmm, maybe not all, but I'm pretty sure I'm one of those. A thousand peso bill will get you nowhere, so to speak, I still remember when I used to go grocery shopping and I would come home with 2 bags full of all sorts of goodies (meat, staple food, bread, chips, sodas, etc.)
Now, I would usually come home with just a half filled bag, I have to be a wise shopper every time.  Now, I'm glued to the television screen hopefully to hear some wonderful news. Well, as far as I'm concern nothing new. I heard that before so let's just wait and see. For the meantime, we have to work harder to survive, life is really tough most of the time but we'll survive.
